Gabriel Papadopoulos is the Pastor and Founder of New Horizons Worship Center in New Port Richey, Florida. He started the church in 2007 as a Saturday evening home Bible study in Hudson, Florida, under the covering of Calvary Chapel Worship Center, led by Senior Pastor Bill Strayer.
As the Bible study grew, Pastor Gabriel, together with Senior Pastor Bill Strayer, moved the gathering into a church service at the Signal Cove Civic Center in Hudson in 2008. In December 2010, New Horizons Worship Center was released to become incorporated as an independent, self-supporting ministry. Under Pastor Gabriel's leadership the church leased its first building on Ridge Road in Port Richey in 2011, and through careful financial management and direction it was able to purchase its permanent home on Shady Acres Boulevard in New Port Richey in 2013.
Pastor Gabriel and New Horizons Worship Center have a heart to serve people. The church supports local ministries and offers clothing, food, and free barbeques to homeless and needy families in the community. The vision the Lord has given to Pastor Gabriel is to "set ablaze the nations with the love of Christ."
